The Hotel Prinzregent, next to Villa Stuck in Munich, began to be demolished in September 2016. Its last guest had checked out on 26 April, but for two more months the building accommodated an unusual group of occupants. The result was a group exhibition in which each room housed an independent, temporary project. Ours was Room 105. Visitors were only allowed to look through a peephole, a camera obscura projection and a screen, without ever entering the room, so that they could not see the interior directly with their own eyes.
The exhibition was accompanied by the publication Notel Prinzregent: 69 Interventionen von Studierenden der Kunstakademie München im Hotel Prinzregent am Friedensengel. Published by Akademie der Bildenden Künste München, 2017, pp. 105–106.
