Isabel Carralero 

This piece brings together different recordings of the etching of an aluminium plate with copper sulphate. The chemical reaction is consistently framed as a horizon line, transforming a technical printmaking process into the image of an unstable landscape. The title situates this transformation within an era defined by the material imprint of human activity on the planet.

The work was presented in 2016 in the solo exhibition Landschaften, curated by Sara Chaparro at Atelier N.O.11, DomagkAteliers gGmbH, Munich, and in 2026 in Mirar de cerca, held at Room 6 of the University of Évora, in dialogue with works by Kika Beneyto.
